Why do I get an error when trying to log in?

Troubleshoot getting an error when attempting to log in with the username and password option.

There are a few reasons why you might receive an error when attempting to log in using the username and password login option including any of the following scenarios above.

You are a new hire and your Zenoti account was created today

User data is synced from Zenoti once per day at 1:30AM, so changes made in Zenoti will take effect in Attensi the following day. If your account was created in Zenoti today, you will not be able to log in to Attensi until tomorrow.

You had your Zenoti username changed today

User data is synced from Zenoti once per day at 1:30AM, so changes made in Zenoti will take effect in Attensi the following day. If your Zenoti username was changed today, you must log in using the previous username until the changes take effect tomorrow.

Review How do I know what my username is? to make sure you are entering your Attensi username correctly.

You may be trying to access the wrong login portal

There are three unique log in portals depending on your salon and location:

You are entering your Attensi username incorrectly

Your Attensi username will be a combination of your Zenoti username plus a prefix depending on your salon brand and location. See How do I know what my username is? to make sure you are entering your Attensi username correctly.

You are logging in for the first time and entering your default password incorrectly

If you are logging in for the first time, you must log in with a specific default password depending on your salon brand and location:

  • Supercuts users: default password is Supercuts1
  • All other brands: default password is Education1
  • Canadian users: default password is Education1

This default password is case-sensitive. Enter it exactly how it appears above with the first character capitalized (i.e. “S” or “E”)

Afterward, you will set your own password which can be used to log in with your Attensi username in the future.

You are a returning user and entering the password you set incorrectly

If you are a returning user and can’t remember the password you set when logging in for the first time, you will need to follow the instructions on How to reset password.
